Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Extra Content
Players who finish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
- Titan-themed outfit for Yasuke

Newest Free Story Update
This update also introduces the game's third free story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
